Vehicle Detail

This is a 1963 R2 Avanti I have had for 19 years. It starts up but the brakes do not work. I had stainless steel sleeves put in the rear cylinder several years back. I had the front pads replaced and new master cylinder and had the brake booster rebuilt. It now leaks brake fluid. It also leaks engine oil and the bottom radiator hose is leaking antifreeze.I put a now battery in it and it starts up.The drivers window does not align properly. I have used headlamp glass covers that are very good. No spare tire. I have used seat covers. The frame and underneath is very solid. It does also leak power steering fluid. I have only put 300 miles on it in 19 years. This car needs total restoration. You can drive on your trailer. The paint appears to be original. It must have been hit in the front at one time. The hood has some glass work on it. I do not have the lower grille or hood emblem. Back bumper has some rust through. Transmission is slow to engage at times. I have just noticed this since I put the battery in it. It was never any problems before it sat. It was last licensed in 2006. It has not been out of the barn until this year. I runs real good considering it has sat so long. It does not appear to be charging the battery anymore. It would be a really good frame off restoration. On Apr-22-14 at 16:13:34 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had questions regarding the hog troughs. I attached 2 pictures of these. They are also very solid. Surface rust only. They are not thin in any way. Seems like metal is really thick. I also attached a picture of the hood underneath where it was repaired. The engine number on the block is RS22I7. The frame has R3895. The body is RQ2836. I hope this helps. The radio does not work and the face is cracked. It runs over 40 pounds of oil pressure at an idle. I hope that clears up some questions. I believe I put valve seals in it when I bought it. The engine does not ever appear to have been apart. The 62195 is original miles but I do not have documentation other than it being a solid car. The stainless steel sleeves are in the rear brake cylinders.
