Up for sale is this 1987 Chevrolet Corvette Targa Coupe. This vehicle has a Black exterior with a Chocolate Brown Interior. This Corvette just turned 103k miles and it runs and drives really nicely. This vehicle will need some cosmetic TLC though.The exterior of the vehicle is in decent shape but could use new paint if you wanted to get it perfect. The vehicle was parked outside and someone backed into it and hit the front bumper. The bumper is fine but the paint started chipping off and the bumper will need realignment as it is off about an inch. The rest of the body panels are in good shape and with some minor hairline crack here and there but nothing major. Overall the exterior of the vehicle is in decent shape but could use restoring.The interior of the vehicle is in decent shape as well. The drivers side seat has some wear on the side bolster. The lower portion of the seat is perfect and the passenger seat is perfect. The drivers side door panel has some wear on the lower part and the passenger door panel is in perfect condition. The dashbaord is in great condition with no cracks at all. The trim panels are all in nice shape and the arm rest is in pretty good shape as well. The rugs and carpeting are in pretty good shape as well. The leather steering wheel and horn button are about a year old and in great condition. The carpeting in the rear hatch are is decent but could use replacing if you wanted to do so. The rear shape is in great shape with no tears. The sun visors could use changing as well. The interior is in good shape overall.Mostly all of the electrical feaures in the vehicle are working the way they should. I have posted a video right below this description so you can see whats working for yourself. Everything in the vehicle is working with the exception of the speedometer, left front headlight motor (light turns on fine and you can open it manually), the turn signal bulbs are burnt out (easy to replace bulbs), and the climate control could use servicing. Other than that everything else in the vehicle works fine.This vehicle has all the options. It has power mirrors, power locks, cruise control, dual power seats, information center, Targa roof, custom wheels, power hatch glass, digital climate control, dual exhaust, and soo much more.Mechanically, the vehicle runs and drives really nicely. I just drove the vehicle from long island to brooklyn (45 miles) without any problems at all. The motor starts right up and runs strongly and the transmission shifts perfectly like it did when it was new. There is nothing wrong with the vehicle mechanically. The suspension is nice and the vehicle has a perfect wheel alignment. The cooling system seems to be working well with no problems. The brakes in the car seem to be okay and it brakes with problem at all. The car has a brand new exhaust system that was put in about 2 years ago. It sounds really nice and has held up really well. The power steering on the vehicle also is great with no problems to mention. There is also no leaks that I can see either. Its a really good runner.The car has nice color matching rims that are in nice shape but a couple of the tires could use changing down the road. The owner also installed a nice CD player head unit that works great.This vehicle comes with one set of two keys, the complete spare tire and jack set, and the Targa-Top removal tool. This is a really nice project vehicle that someone can drive daily as they fix it up. With a little bit of cosmetic work, this would make a really nice vehicle and it can be brought for a really cheap price. Dont miss out on having this great vehicle for the summer.
