Up for auction is one well used 1953 Studebaker starliner 2 door hardtop, this car has no engine or transmission, at one time it was set up with a SBC and 4 speed but both are long gone now. the cowell number is 4H-K5 over 9246 it has a GT dash board with an after market Tach. also GT door panels front and back. all the glass is good and useable, the front and rear garnish molding is the stainless type and good shape.The car has minor rust out in the front floors and a little in the trunk floor, some rust starting on the lower rear area of the front fenders. The body is in rather nice condition but the hood does need major work but there is no rust in the nose, bondo has been used on the hood and is coming off and the hinge corners are bent, the trunk lid is nice shape but handle was remover and holes filled in and are starting to show the work. As shown in the pictures the front side grille surrounds are not with the car, they are long gone but most of the other trim pieces are there even if not in the pictures. center side grille bars are also missing all the chrome pot metal is pitted but all there and can be rechromed. This a 7 day auction and car can stay at my place for 30 days at close of auction for free until shipping is secured after the first 30 days it will cost $50 a month unless other arrangements are made, A deposit of a minimum of $300.00 will be due at close of auction through Pay-pal, car can be picked up in Hayward , California if so desired but car will be paid for in full before leaving my place any type of check will have to clear the banks also before car leaves. At this time there is no title only a bill of sale but I can get a new California title for $200.00 if so desired by new owner.
