It was purchased to travel on for my retirement and beyond however health issues force the sale of this fine motorcycle. I have DVT in my right leg which is a condition brought on by long travel without leg movement so my touring days are about over... This is my first BMW and the thing that really struck me was how solid it feels mainly because of the refined suspension system. After ownership of just about every motorcycle marque (the last being a late model Goldwing) this bike is head and shoulders a much more refined feeling bike. Beside the seemingly limitless power, it just handles intuitively like its reading your mind through the corners. The amazing Telelever front suspension are like a pair of "A" arms much like a racing car with a single shock and spring and the steering yoke pivots on the ball joints at the end of the arms. This keeps the fork angle consistent as it maintains the wheelbase distance. Once you ride with this all other bikes seem antiquated. The bike is set up for long distance travel with a BMW Trip computer, Factory Cruise control, Electrically Adjustable Windshield, Heated grips, Heated front and rear seats, HID Integrated Headlights. Flashing brake LED lights, LED map lights on the dash, and TPM Tire pressure monitor. It Has the nice AeroFlo Windshield with the side wings (not shown) which keeps you dry in solid rain. The Front rider seat is a Sargent which is about 2 months old and will not be included in the sale however (Maybe we can work it into the deal if we do the BUY IT NOW) the standard heated seat which is in perfect condition, will be included. I have an accessory socket wired in directly (fused) to the Battery which is used for your smartphone as it serves for your GPS with Bluetooth. The iPhone Hard Case shown is also not included but available from RAM Products for about $39. Everything on the bike works great with no problems. I had the clutch plates and basket replaced ($700) as a precaution as they suggest change-out before 60K, and had the cam chain jump guide and a new upgraded Cam chain tensioner and new front and rear brake pads installed. It has a Leo Vince Carbon muffler ($600) that saves about 20 LBS in weight and is quiet but snarls when you mix it up a bit. The BMW Factory Hard-cases with the large Capacity Trunk are included. The trunk has a power socket wired to it for added accessories. This bike has new oil and filter and is ready for the new owner to hit the road in style. Please call if you need anymore information.
