Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a nice project starter International, It has the straight six still on 6V batteries, four speed manual transmission with the two speed rear end, Tilt out front wind shield Has an early after market Radson tach with the Sun sending unit. There are a couple of great old information badges on the dash for the NoSpin differential and the two speed axle. The Seat has been redone a few years back, back window has been cracked, passenger side window is stuck down and the passenger door actuator will not release the door. I bought it a year ago with the intent of throwing modern running gear under it, but it keep falling further behind on the project list. The story I got when I bought it goes like this: the truck work on a farm in eastern Oregon. If you know eastern Oregon, it is high desert. It was purchased and truck to Portland 27 years ago. It drove into the barn where I found it and talked the old gent out of it. I shot it with several quarts of automotive clear and stuck it back in a barn. The oil looks good, bright green anti freeze in the radiator, engine turns free, gas look like molasses. I have not tried to start it, I might get to it later this week. If I have time I will try to get ( at the bare minimum ) get it to drive onto a trailer. The rubber will hold air, but show signs of weather checking. It was a dump truck, no hydraulic but the frame is reinforced. Steering feel real good, it has an after market turn signal set up on it. The Body is real solid, a couple of dent. the passenger side roof has on I thing will pop if you get behind it. Fenders have small dents, passenger side fender had exhaust piped through it and sill need a patch.
