This pickup was purchased new by my father from Vandergriff Chevrolet in Arlington, TX in 1966. He immediately had air conditioning installed in the pickup. It has the 283 v8 engine, 3 on the tree manual transmission with factory overdrive. The truck has never been wrecked or mechanically modified. The engine and transmission have both been rebuilt and work perfectly. The engine has great oil pressure and starts every time. At this time it has GMC Denali wheels, I have the original steel wheels and hubcaps. All gauges work correctly. Lights and turn signals work correctly. Horn and windshield wipers work correctly. The truck has dual exhaust with quiet mufflers and chrome tips. The truck has been re-sprayed twice and needs another one. The original color was light green and white, you can see the original color in the photos of the firewall. The truck is rust free except for a small area (both sides) underneath the side badges (see photo).
