kataraxkidd Store An Excellent and very original example of a last model year 1972 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 4.5 with only 72,595 actual two owner miles. This Mercedes was previously owned by the same owner since 1983. It has always been garage kept and covered and meticulously maintained. It was just serviced which includes a complete tune up, front end work and brand new tires. It drives down the road straight, smooth and tight with no rattles or vibrations. The Powerful 4.5 V8 engine pulls hard from the line and quickly accelerates as the transmission shifts flawlessly through all gears. All power features work properly including Ice cold A/C, power windows, locks, and sunroof. The 100% rust-free body underwent a complete respray in its original factory gold color with brown painted pintripes in the late 80's and still retains a deep glossy finish. There are a couple of scratches or imperfections here and there but nothing significant. The time capsule like interior is completely original and in very good condition with a charming touch of patina. The dash is free from cracks and the wood trim is in very good original condition.
