THE OVERVIEW Offered for an appreciating new owner is this rare classic 1959 Studebaker Lark VI two door. THIS IS A NO-RESERVE 5 DAY AUCTION [or hit the buy it now before the first bid is entered!] Finished in what looks to be an older repaint of two-tone brown and gold over the original coral pink color, this '59 Lark is a great project for someone other than me. It is not presently in running condition needing new distributor and a few other tidbits. It has a flat six cylinder engine with manual column shifter. It is being sold with keys but bill of sale only. I did not receive a title with it a few years back. The odometer shows 58,704 miles but unfortunately I have no documentation of the actual miles on this 55 year-old thang! PLEASE CALL 650-307-2251 FOR QUESTIONS, TEST DRIVES AND/OR INSPECTIONS THE BODY AND TRIM The exterior of this Lark is in respectable condition as it is with a decent luster to the paint finish with various nicks, scratches and other blemishes including a corroded area on the roof near the trim rail. It has painted wheels with chrome caps and all of the glass and lights are intact. The chrome bumpers and trim show some pitting. The tires appear to be newish with excellent tread. The two rears match each other and the two fronts match each other. Inside the trunk you will find original matching spare and surface rust flaking which I have not poked at. THE INTERIOR The interior of this classic Studebaker is in decent condition. I acquired the car with brown shag carpeting which I tore out revealing blue foam padding. I have not had the nerve to look under there. The door panels are in nice shape and the upholstery has been redone. The headliner has a grey flannel type fabric with dome light intact.
