1936 Ford fordor humpback sedan (Model 68) project. Started this project 1 year ago and just don't have the time to complete. Car does not have Wheels or drive train (But was set up for Independent Front suspension as well as a Manual transmission). Frame has been reinforced with Speedway motors custom "X" member and independent front suspension cross member added (for Mustang II suspension). Triangulated 9" ford rear end with coilovers (ford 9'' does not have axles)is included. I have an extra 9" rear end with 28 spline axles and a non-posi center section that will go with this sale as well. Frame has been boxed with "Wolfes Metal" dimpled boxing plates. Interior of frame has been coated with rust preventative coating. Frame has been primed with rust locking primer and painted "Bright smooth red" with hammerite rust locking paint. (pictures below). Beautiful and super strong. Was being designed to take the power of a 427 FE. Body work has not been started, but all fenders, running boards, floor boards, etc. are in MINT condition (Pictures Below). Car was stored in a warehouse by an older gentleman who purchased it after the Vietnam war. Seats have been removed as well as steering column, but everything included. Spare tire cover for rear of car is in mint condition as well. "Painless" wiring harness for this car will be included (12 V system) as well as brand new head light switch, and ignition. Brand new in the box gas tank with Fuel pump stand (in tank). (Pictured Below) This car was being built extra strong as I was going to put a Ford Big Block engine in it, but with the correct Engine mounts, the Frame will accept any engine. Please note that this car has no wheels or drivetrain. If needed, can be put on a rolling dolly for shipping. All Original body panels and running boards in excellent condition (was an older restoration when I purchased it) -Freshly restored and updated frame (with Independent front suspension cross member, Center X member with Transmission mount, and rear suspension cross member installed). Pained in a Bright Red "Hammerite" coating and frame rails coated internally with anti-corrosion undercoating. -Brand new triangulated rear end. Ford 9" with coil over suspension.
