You are bidding on my daily driver a 2001 Mazda Millenia S. I am the second owner. I bought this from a friend of mine who was the "first" owner. It was leased as his company car then when the lease ran out he bought the car for his wife. I have all of the service records and the oil has been kept changed religiously. This car has the supercharged miller cycle engine and I get about 23mpg back and forth the work on the highway. The interior is in great shape. Although I normally drive very gently and cautiously (no tickets in 10 years) when you have to merge onto the interstate and you punch the gas peddle, this car will throw you into the back seat if your not holding onto the steering wheel. I mean this car is fast!!! The bad: The OBD throws manifold pressure and fuel bank trim one and two codes at idle. I am told this is because it needs a new MAP sensor. There is some surface rust on both rear wheel wells, typical for Mazda's - a minor and an easy fix. This vehicle also will need a new belt auto-tensioner in the near future as it is rattling a bit when cold - goes away when the car runs a bit. Tilt steering no longer works, cd player has a disk stuck in and won't eject and the sunroof switch needs replaced. The good: Recent repairs and maintenance besides regular oil changes include new idler pulley bearing, alternator and a new timing belt. I was told that to pass MD safety inspection, one of the most stringent in the nation for a used car, it will need front tires, adjustment of the hand brake and wiper blades. I am too busy to attend to those so I am passing the savings onto you. This is my reliable daily driver. That said, parted out this great car would be worth twice my buy it now price!!!
