This 100% genuine "K" code 1965 mustang coupe is farm fresh. I found this car tucked away in a small garage on a farm. Barn find ...The door data plate, fender apron, engine block, 4 speed trans are all stamped with the same VIN. You read right, a matching numbers car. And of course the 9 inch rear with the 3:50 tag still intact that matches the door tag. This is an open gear rear end and not locking,which was an option. The car is currently registered in my name, and the last time this car saw the road was 1972 ! This car has extensive rust in areas and will need to be moved with a trailer. It looks like the previous owner was going to pull the engine as some of the wiring (among other things) under the hood was cut or missing. I did piece it back together to hear it fire by adding the following non-HiPo items that were missing....carb,radiator,fuel pump,dual point distributor (69 casting). As I said, this car would need major metal work to be brought back to road worthiness though not entirely impossible. This car does have the rally-PAC as well as the original cast iron headers that aren't clearly seen in the pics. Again this car has a lot of rot and is missing the outter shock towers, why? I have no clue.There are also holes in all areas of the floor and frame sections throughout this car.
