The 2004 NSR50R is a motorbike that Honda specifically designed for the race track; the bike is not street legal in the US. This track style motorbike has a 49 cc two-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 7.2 horsepower at around 10,000 RPM. The top speed for this racing bike is around 60 mph and the engine redlines at 11,500 RPM. This racing bike comes equipped with a single-shaft balancer that helps to eliminate vibrations from the engine. The 2004 Honda NSR also comes with a large radiator to help give the racing bike cool under pressure.Many riders feel that the NSR50R is a great starter choice for novice bikers that are interested in racing. The 2004 Honda NSR50R is still a popular track bike among more experienced riders and many dealerships still carry parts for these models as well. This motorbike comes equipped with a one-piece vinyl seat that is made to support one rider only. The rear shock of the 2004 Honda NSR is designed to provide adjustable compression and rebound damping.The body of the racer is made of plastic and the frame is made of steel. The NSR50R comes with standard front and rear fenders, handlebars, a tachometer and foot pegs as well. The 2004 Honda NSR is around 5.18 feet long and 23.2 inches wide. The MSRP for the NSR50R track bike is around $3,600. Riders feel the 2004 Honda NSR’s value outweighs the cost because its’ just as capable on the track as some of the bigger race bikes. This bike is a competitive racer, handles corners well and can drift off bends on the road at 50 mph relatively well also.Riders also praise the NSR50 for its dependability and low engine maintenance. Many of the 2004 Honda NSR50R race bikes are still used at 24-hour endurance races held in southern California. Surveyed riders indicated an overall preference for the NSR50R over other racing bikes and most of the motorbikes available as well. These riders felt that the 2004 Honda NSR model had racing track capabilities that were significantly superior to the majority of the other bikes on the market.I bought this bike from a guy who bought it for his daughter and she never used it.
