It was painted once along time ago maroon, originally an all white car. In 1956 they came two toned, you had to special order all one color, I believe only five solid colored cars where made. In order to two tone this car you only need two small stainless pieces over the front wheels. There are no dents, no bondo, and only one rust area in front of the passenger rear wheel about 3 inches in size & some in the rear passenger floor board. The rest of the car is rust free; it's a desert car, it is very dry out here. Glass is all good, bumpers all straight, chrome good, and no missing parts that I know of. This is a black California plate car. The top canvas is in poor condition, however no problems with top assembly. The car has power steering and is a V8 automatic. New wide white walls when parked. All stainless is straight. The interior is black & white it looks good, some places coming apart at the seams. Will need the usual things cars need when they have been parked along time like belts, hose, etc. Without looking I think it has about 97000 miles on it. This is a rare car to find in it's condition, it is a super straight, no prior damage or wrecks, and 99% rust free. With just a little bit of money this car can be driven and enjoyed. Any questions I am more than willing to answer to the best of my ability. 50's convertible's like this are getting harder to find... Car is priced to sell
