Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful and rare cassis colored Porsche 911 Targa. The car starts, drives and stops great, and is an absolute blast to drive.I purchased this Porsche with the intention of doing some gradual and picky improvements, but a job change with extensive travel will prevent me from doing so. As I purchased this car at a very fair price I will gladly pass the savings along. First let me say that the car has a clean Carfax with the exception of an odometer discrepancy. The original odometer was replaced at about 95,000 with a used unit that had 33,000 miles. It now shows 56,861 but is currently not working. I'm guessing the nylon gear in the odometer is broken again. I have driven it less than 100 miles. I have no way to verify the milage currently, but judging by the condition I would guess that it is not excessive. The overall condition of the car is very good, and the previous owner let nothing go uncorrected. I have over $25,000 in receipts for parts and repairs to include engine rebuild by Motor Meister, A/C compressor, Alternator, Etc, Etc. The car has been repainted in the original cassis color, but I have no records of cost or date of the repaint. It was a very high quality job with most of the seals being replaced. There are no dings, dents,or scratches and you would have to look very hard to find the couple of small stone chips. The car is nearly totally rust free with the exception a bubble about the size if a quarter on the passengers side fender. Probably poor prep work when painted. There are no rips or tears in the seats and no evidence of being smoked in. The dash does have cracks, one of the things I had hoped to replace. The engine is tight, no smoke, starts immediately. Anything needing attention at the rebuild was completed, new injectors Etc. A couple of things that will need attention at some point is the rear deck brake light needs installed, I have the part, The horn is not working and the high beams are inoperative, easy fixes. Again this beautiful car would stand tall at any enthusiast's gathering and continue to provide dependable and enjoyable motoring for years to come while holding it's value. Please contact me if I can provide any additional information that you may need. Thanks for looking, Mike.
