Authentic, restored, matching numbers, 1967 Triumph TT Special. I restored this bike a few years ago & it has rested inside my house since then, never being ridden. I just removed it from the collection; added gas ( using a lawn mower tank- the Caswell coated tank has never had gas in it ), started the engine, checked all fluids, oil flow/pressure ( has a Morgo plunger pump ) and confirmed that everything including the carbs were correct. Idles very smoothly. Complete engine rebuild including all new main & big end bearings, seals, 10 1/2 : 1 pistons, valve job, clutch, etc. Carbs are correct 389/95 & have been rebuilt to TT specs. Original, excellent rims with Buchannan stainless spokes, new tubes & correct Dunlop tires. Rebuilt front end with internal dampers. Correct 1 3/4" TT headers have never seen exhaust ( I started it with an extra set of used pipes so these would not discolor ), fold-up foot pegs, grips, kill button , side cover, etc. The bike is currently equipped with a standard electrical & charging system to make possible street riding more dependable. Two wire stator & matching rotor; Tympanium regulator; sealed battery; Boyer ignition; 12volt coils & hidden ignition switch. Included separately is the original, complete, Energy Transfer system (see photos ) and a NEW cloth-bound wiring harness. This is a magnificent example of the final year for the TT Special. Although Vermont does not issue titles on vehicles over 15 years old, I have a signed Missouri title that will be included along with my bill-of-sale.
