I've come to the realization that I want something a little more comfortable and conducive to daily driving since that's primarily what this truck sees. It's a super clean truck that I picked up from Northern California and drove back to New Mexico a few years ago. Being a NorCal truck, it's free of cancer that plagues these older Toyota trucks. The modifications on the truck are pretty mild and were chosen specifically to: 1) Help make the truck a reliable commuter since it was my only vehicle for the last 4 years.2) Be "relatively" fuel efficient, and function at modern freeway speeds.3) Capability to get into remote backcountry areas to facilitate my outdoor hobbies. I've driven the truck across country while seeking out adventure and to serve as my sole transportation. It's utterly dependable - without question it gets me wherever I've wanted to go. The truck is not "perfect" but is far cleaner than 99.9% of the examples you'll ever come across. I get complimented almost daily on the truck. I'm going to miss it. As stated, the truck is a clean 99.9% rust free California truck. Frame is completely rust free and so is the cab. The bed has one small pin hole in the upper passenger side corner at the seam (see pictures). Originally an SR5 trim truck, the original seats have been replaced with some '90's Honda Accord seats adapted to the stock sliders so the original floorpan is unmodified. Aftermarket carpet kit is in decent shape although I made a small cut in error around the shifter. But the carpet really helped the comfort of being in the cab for long drives. Engine is a '97 3RZ which was swapped in with a '91 W56C transmission. The wiring is clean and completely integrated into the truck. No rats next of wires. Very clean. What you should know (i.e. the bad):The rearward intake valve for the #3 cylinder is showing some wear. The valve clearance is a bit tight on that valve and the smallest shim Toyota makes for the 3RZ is installed so it's going to have to be addressed at some point. At this time, the truck runs fine and I'd honestly have no issues driving it any distance required to get back to wherever you need to go, but be aware that it'll need addressed sooner or later. The truck has no other issues that I'm aware of. It's been my sole transportation for the last 4 years and has never once left me stranded or failed to get me where I wanted to go. It's an extremely capable vehicle that has no problems traveling 75mph down the interstate with one finger on the steering wheel, or traversing some serious terrain should you need to get somewhere remote. Seems that there is some concern about an artificially high reserve price that is out of reach. I'll respond by assuring those interested the reserve is not artificially high to try and "milk" more bids. I feel the reserve is a fair assessment of what I believe the condition of the truck and the additions has. For those in a emissions restricted area, I will include all of the original smog equipment (EVAP canister, solenoids, and pressure sensor, EGR pipe, EGR valve, and EGR solenoid) for no additional fees. These parts will ship separately from the vehicle via UPS to eliminate anything being lost by the transporter. I should also note, the "title issue" reported by the Auto Check here is apparently because the New Mexico DMV did not list a mileage in the system when they issued the title.
