This immaculate car is smoke-free and has always been garaged and always hand washed. The convertible top was replaced just before we purchased the car 9 years ago. The only time it has been raised since then is when we had the company detailing our car check it, at which time they stated that it looked like new. The car was appraised a few years ago and the appraiser rated it as "Excellent" and described it as a "vehicle that has insignificant minor flaws (rarely driven)." In his summation, he stated that the car "appeared not to have had any body damage." He noted that everything was original with the exception of the pinstripes, halogen sealed beams, windshield, stereo and amplifier, tires and what we call the James Bond Motorola cell phone mounted in the center console. Since the appraisal, the car has been driven less than 3000 miles and the clock has stopped working. There is a slight oil leak, which the manager of a Mercedes Benz service department noted was not significant and suggested we not bother repairing it. There are a few small dings in the paint which are barely noticeable. The battery is about 1 month old. The A/C refrigerant has been replaced with an approved type. The car is Calif. emission compliant, the certificate having been issued this month. Every effort has been made to describe the car as accurately as possible.
