1956 volkswagen bettle,orginal California car,has been stored in a garage in Indiana since early 1980's the owner parked it because the generator quit working.I purchased the car after the last owner removed the car from storage it was complete and all together.He then removed all the interior,and stripped the body to bare metal in preparation for paint,he then had a local body shop replace both floor pans due to minor rust where the battery was located.The body as you can see in the pictures the body is very straight and only minor dent repairs needed,hard to find a body this good condition.orginial owner emptied the fuel tank for storage and it is in great condition.The engine turns over fine and has compression.Tranny seems fine just needs a new generator. This car will make a great bug once restored.I have a clear Indiana title,it is located in Indianapolis,In. Car is also advertised locally i reserve the right to end the auction early if sold.
