For sale is Mamie Eisenhower's 1953 Chrysler Imperial security limousine. I have documentation from the National Archives and Records Administration with matching numbers that this vehicle was part of the Eisenhower's (motor pool) fleet. This vehicle was custom equipped with a 7/8" Multiplate (bullet proof) glass in the rear window and two rear quarter windows. The radio in the rear was changed to a Cadillac signal seeking type since Chrysler did not have one available at the time. Custom wire wheels with disc brakes all around. Seats fold up as to store items underneath. The vehicle was subsequently purchased by a US Marshall. In 1953 Chryslers automatic transmission was a two speed Powerflite. In 1956 a 1956 engine was installed with Chryslers 3 speed Torqueflite transmission, push button, hemi engine . This must have been performed under the direction of Chrysler as the new engine number is the same original engine number in 1953. The VIN number is 7816130. I have extra fenders and a hood, also the missing chrome on the rocker is included. The car does not run as it was sitting for about 20 years. The body and frame are solid. Will need a restore.
