Vehicle Detail
This is a running 1961 Ford E100 truck. I picked it up locally last fall, but have too many other projects to get to it. It is a very cool vehicle. I do not know a lot about it but can look for specific details if asked. The truck has a straight 6 with a manual transmission. It runs and drives but needs brake work so does not stop. The previous owner say it was the master cylender that needs to be replaced. I have not moved at any kind of speed in it so cannot attest to it's roadworthiness at this time. the seats are not original - I think they are from a minivan. I believe most of these vehicles which are redone use Mustang seats which would fit better than the current seats, although they are workable. As you can see by the pictures, the body is in primer and some body work has been done. All in all it seems pretty solid to me though. It is a complete vehicle except for a few chrome pieces, radio, headliner (if there ever was one) and a few interior pieces and molding and of course the tailgate, which is the part always missing from these. It also does not come with a battery so please bid accordingly. It does come with rims and the four matching hubcaps you see on the passenger side rear wheel in the photos. As these are rare, I am not sure what the value is. Feel free to make offers though and ask any questions you have. You can contact me through ebay or call me at 574 524 5949. Vehicle comes with a clear Michigan title in the last owner's name. Thanks, GregOn Mar-21-14 at 16:14:31 PDT, seller added the following information: A few people have asked about the frame and floorboards on the vehicle. I have added 8 pictures of the underside. The frame rails look great to me. The floor steel does show surface rust all over but no rust through that I can see. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, GregOn Mar-24-14 at 16:31:34 PDT, seller added the following information: There have been a handful of questions as to the year of this truck. Please see questions and answers posted. I verified the VIN on the truck matches the title today but it looks from my looking up the VIN number that this is a 1967 truck although the title says 1961. Presuming sometime in the last 45 years someone mistook the 7 for a 1 on the title. Thanks everyone for pointing me to how to look up the old VIN. Also we did start up the truck today and it seems to run fine and the clutch seems good as well. Good luck with last day bids Thanks, Greg
