Up for sale a 1996 Geo Metro with 170089 mi. I bought this last year at 152000 miles and used it to commute 100 miles each way to work. It has been a reliable car for me and I had planned to run the wheels off this thing but the family is expanding and the wife says it has to go :(. If you are searching for this vehicle your probably already aware of the amazing gas mileage, reliability, and cheap maintenance of these vehicles. I was getting 45 mpg before I parked it in January. The previous owner stated he replaced the head, new valves, gasket etc.. the water pump, timing belt. The drivers mirror appears to have been repaired by previous owner by non traditional methods. Since I took ownership I have installed xfi transmission, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, vacuum lines, front struts and mounts, fuel pump, alternator, belts, hoses, all filters and fluids. There are no warning lights on and according to my code reader everything appears to be functioning normally. As I stated the antenna is broken, which I will provide a replacement part for. The headliner is missing (came to me that way). The tires are worn but also as stated I will be providing some alternate tires and rims (see photos). Also I will be including some oil and fuel filters since I have no use for them anymore. The car also appears to have been repainted prior to me taking ownership and the job has a lot to be desired but the car is almost 19 years old. Passed safety and emissions inspection last year. As for the transaction details.... $500 non-refundable deposit via paypal within 24 hours of purchase. Balance due within 7 days. I will only accept cash or certified check for the balance. You have 10 days from end of auction to pick up the vehicle. If you violate any of these terms I reserve the right to relist the car and will provide no refund. Non payers will be reported to Ebay. The car is sold as is where is with no expressed or implied warranty. I do have a copy of the carfax. If you cannot abide by these terms do not bid. I have tried in good faith to list any and all issues related to the vehicle that I am aware of and will be happy to answer any questions.
