This is a solid start to a real nice 55. It was taken apart to begin a restoration about 6 years ago and has been sitting ever since. Floor pans were replaced, but metal was not treated, so there is some surface rust on the floors. The rear panel under the truck lid was also replaced. There is one spot in the rear, under the back glass, where the right side shock mount is that had some rust. This panel replacement was started but never finished. The quarters, rockers, body mounts, fenders, hood, decklid, and roof are solid. I don't see any rust through on these pieces, just some surface that will sand off. The doors are also solid, but one has a few small blisters on the corners on the outside, the inside and frames of the doors look great. The stainless is in good condition and all accounted for. I have the seat frames for the rear and only the seat backs for the front (I think that you can mount these seat backs on a lower seat frame from a four door front seat and be fine, but I am not sure) Parts that are missing that I can tell: Engine, transmission, windshield and side glass, bumpers. Everything else appears to be present and accounted for with a few extra parts and pieces of trim. The cowl tag shows the car to be an original Bel Air, with a 6 cylinder, produced in Los Angeles. The shifter linkages are with the car and it was a 3 speed column shift. It was a two-tone car with a Neptune Green body and Shoreline Beige top/trunk. It also had a green interior. I have a clear title for the car. To move it, you will need your truck bed to be empty to load the extra parts. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you, Chris 501-690-9625
