Vehicle Detail

Up for bids is my 1975 Suzuki GT750. I have had this bike for the last 7 years and enjoyed bringing it back to life. It had sat for a while when I bought it so it has taken a lot of work to bring it to the condition you see now. I have tried to remember all the things I have done to this bike. I currently have a gps hooked up and is attached with Velcro to the speedometer. The speedometer works fine and has no issues. The bike has period correct fiberglass hard saddlebags which have been painted to match. The lights in the back of the bags are wired up and do work. The bike will come with a battery. It is not in the bike now because it is March and I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin and we are currently trying to get through the winter from hell. But I digress. The bodyset was professionally painted. The body is in excellent shape. The only flaws are a light scratch on the left saddlebag lid and a small chip on the side of the right saddlebag. The tank is beautiful. The radiator cap cover has both original plastic clips holding it down, as it should. The plastic radiator shroud has one small corner broken off on the right side. The chrome on the bike is overall very nice. Every piece is not perfect but the chrome is well above average. The pipes are all solid with no holes. There may be a few acid stains from the battery on them but nothing major and they are very presentable. The bike does come with a clear title and a tool kit. No owner's manual. I have currently installed a smoke windshield to cut the wind. The bike starts with electric or kick and runs well. It shifts fine with no issues. It does not burn extra oil or leak it. As stated in the condition description the crankshaft was professionally rebuilt. The pictures show the points cover as an embossed 1972 cover which will not be coming with the bike. I wgill include a different one as I will need the embossed one for the 1972 I recently purchased(how many buffaloes does a guy need?). All electrics work as they should. VIN is GT750-56883 and engine # is GT750-62107. The title matches the engine, not the frame which is the way they did it in Wisconsin in the 70's. I have put many hours into this bike to make it a beautiful, solid bike. I hate to part with it but I can't keep them all. Please ask questions before bidding and don't bid unless you intend to follow through. You are not bidding for the right to look at the bike, you are bidding to buy. I will assist with shipping if that's what you would like to do but I will not be crating it myself. Please make such arrangements prior to bidding. Ask any questions you'd like. I probably won't end the auction early but you can always make me an offer I can't refuse. A down payment will be made within 24 hrs via paypal for $400. The rest will be due upon pickup. I can store the bike if needed but please ask before bidding. Good luck!On Mar-06-14 at 17:22:49 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention the chrome saddlebag guards. There are two mounted and I have two more but the two that aren't mounted are pretty rusty. I was going to have them re-plated but just never did. The ones that are mounted need to be adjusted as one keeps popping out of its clamp. Not a big deal but I wanted to mention it.
