Vehicle Detail
***Item relisted due to misunderstanding with the previous buyer - shipping is NOT included*** ***THERE IS A SLIDESHOW WITH MORE DETAILED PICS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS AUCTION*** 1966 Dodge Charger. Was originally white with black vinyl interior with a 383 4BBL, automatic transmission, A/C, power steering, and power brakes. It now has a 1977 440 sitting in the engine bay not connected to the transmission, but the transmission is there as well. You will want to rebuild this motor and build it up because factory horsepower was down in the late 70s. I have included some build ideas in the pics of stock and non-stock cars. I have also included a pic of what the fold down rear bucket seats look like when restored. A very cool feature of this car. Decoding is detailed below. I have also ordered the Build Sheet from Chrysler. It will come with the car or I will mail it to you when I receive it. The body is straight but the car needs both rear quarters patched as always. The trunk lid will probably need to be replaced as well. The rest can be welded up. The rear trunk deck and lip is good. No rust. ***I purchased another good solid trunk lid and it will come with the car.*** There is a non-functional scoop on the hood. The hood is good though with no rust. All the glass is good including the windshield. The frame is solid and the wheel wells look good with no holes. No rust in the engine bay either. It will need two long front floor pans put in. There are holes (shown in the pics) and some crumpled up tin screwed in behind the drivers seat to cover some of it. The area under the rear seats is fine though so you don't have to do a full floor pan. The trunk needs a new spare tire patch dropped in and a patch on the right side only before the dropoff (shown in the pics) or just do the whole thing. All the interior and interior trim is there with the car. Everything just needs to be recovered, new headlinder, carpet, etc. Most of the seats are actually pretty decent for their age but you will probably want to recover them anyway. The dash components have all been pulled out. They are in rough shape (ie the gauge cluster has been broken) but I have them all. The stainless trim is all there and straight. Just needs to be polished. The front bumper is missing. The rear bumper got dinged. It might can be hammered out and rechromed. The headlight buckets are there, but they are missing the fronts. Also, one piece of the center grille is missing as well. What I have is shown in the pics. You can find a set of the missing pieces on Ebay right now for a few hundred dollars. I believe it has all 4 original wheels. 3 are on the car and the white one on the left rear is a spare. The 4th black one comes with the car. There are also a few extra parts off other cars included (ie several sets of headlights and rings, exhaust manifolds, and misc interior components). See the pics. There is no title. Alabama law does not require a title for vehicles 35+ years old. Car will come with a bill of sale. DECODING: VIN: XP29G61188XXX Charger Premium Price Class 2dr Fastback 383 4BB 325hp 1966 Lynch Rd.
