Vehicle Detail

Link to video for phone users, http://youtu.be/ruQRPgtDEkUHere is a very well optioned 1969 Mustang Mach 1. It has an M code 351W 4V engine, wide ratio toploader 4speed transmission, 3.25 Traction Lock rear axle, factory in dash tachometer, power disc brakes and foldown rear seat. Original color was Black Jade with black deluxe interior. All these options are verified as original by Marti report. Magnums are not included, it will come with rollers. It was sold new in Bellevue Washington and remains in Washington today so no East Coast rust from salted roads etc. This combination of options will make for a high dollar car once restoredThe body of the Mach 1 is pretty straight, roof, hood, fenders and doors are all straight with only minor, if any dents, Quarters have a little damage on wheel lips but not too bad. There is some filler in the passenger quarter. Some rust in the lower quarters, door corners, front inner aprons and driver's trunk drop offs. Battery apron has rust and needs replacement. Frame rails are solid with driver’s side torque box needing a little attention. Wheel houses look good. Floor pans on passenger side look pretty good, driver's side does have a few spots that need attention, I resisted the urge to clean them up and paint them so you could see them as they are. I wouldn’t replace them because I prefer to replace as little metal as possible but you may decide it’s easier to just replace them. Front core support/lower crossmember is kinked slightly and should be replaced. All else looks straight. The interior is pretty much all there but it needs a complete restoration. Or you could just clean it up a bit, throw carpet in it and drive it the way it is. Seats are original and correct but are showing wear. Door panels are cracked and warping, could be used but should be replaced. Dashpad is cracked. Tach and gauges are in good shape, headliner is nice, trap door has no speaker holes but there are speaker holes in the rear interior side panels. Original rimblow steering wheel is present.Car runs, moves and stops but is not road ready. 351W has Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carb and headers. Engine starts right up, runs but does need a tuneup, has good oil pressure and no smoke but it is loud because the headers are rusted out. Clutch and transmission work well. It has a Hurst shifter, it could use adjustment for reverse but it works. The brake booster needs to be rebuilt, it won’t hold vacuum. Items not pictured but included are seatbelts, hoodscoop lights and grill, door glass (one tinted, one clear), headlights and mounting buckets and misc other parts. There are some parts missing but they are mostly parts you would replace anyway when doing a restoration such as carpet, window trim, window tracks (regulators are there) and probably a few other minor items. This is a project car but it does run, move and stop under its own power so it can be loaded onto a transporter. It would need exhaust work and a some other minor work to be back on the road again. No reason you can’t drive this one and enjoy it while you restore it. Magnums are not included. In fairness to all bidders I will not disclose my reserve. Vehicle is sold as is where is. It is available for inspection by appointment. Shipping is the responsibility of buyer. I have done my best to describe it but please understand that it is a 45 year old car that needs a restoration. International buyers welcome. Full payment is due within 5 days of auction end. Vehicle must be picked up within 21 days of auction end unless prior arrangements are made. Bidders with a feedback rating of 10 or less must contact me before bidding or bid will be automatically cancelled. I reserve the right to end the auction ear
