1949 Willys nut and bolt restoration, not back to exact original collector standards but nut and bolt nun the less. ( I did not do the restoration,I bought it this way ) It obviously has a non orig. roll bar with newer style seat belts, incorrect seat covers and incorrect paint as well as a small lift. The paint is in excellent condition but not period correct, it is a wrinkle type of paint not spray on bed liner, and there is 0 rust. I am not positive if this is the orig. body or not because it is in excellent condition. I have had it since October and maybe put 40 or 50 miles on it. I have put a new thermostat and had the radiator re-done, new plug wire boots and plugs, and changed the oil because it sat prior to me buying it for some time. It has the top bows but no top, does have the set up for a bikini top and has a tow bar not pictured, has locking hubs and the transmission and synchros are in good working order.The parking brake is not hooked up but the cable assembly is there ( hence the rock in the photo ) It does have some minor leaks as all of these old jeeps do but fires right up, runs good with 0 smoking and strong oil pressure when warm as you can see in one of the photos as it was running. The fuel gauge isn't working properly. I added the gun rack as I intended to take this to my ranch but this jeep is to nice for that ( can remove easily ) . I have never even washed this jeep since I bought it , it has been stored inside. It is viewable for inspection with a little prior notice , you can't re-finish one for what I will take for this one if you got the jeep for free. Gary 214-675-1665
