Due to our high volume of full customer builds - this is the only Thunder Rat we'll have for sale in 2014. If you are not familiar with our "Thunder Rat" series - here's the deal. These are bikes that we build with good running used motors. This allows us to be able to sell a custom one off bike much cheaper than a full commissioned build from us. However, you can buy with confidence because the bike is completely gone through, and much of the bike/parts are new or refinished. Basically these bikes are complete builds, with good used engine bottom ends (we take the engine apart and inspect all aspects and replace whatever needs to be done - we just don't split the cases) Here's what's been done to this bike: Motor:- New primary (chain / clutches)- New boyer electronic ignition- New solid state voltage regulator- New carbs (Amal 930)- New top end - inspected bottom end Body/Frame:- Powdercoated frame- New paint done by Choppahead (root beer flake, with vanilla milkshake/black panels) - hand striped and Thor's hammer graphic done by Charlie the One-Armed Bandit Wheels/Front end:- Wheels gone through and have just been powdercoated dark rootbeer- Powdercoated lower forks- New fork gaiters- New levers / controls- Powdercoated vintage twisted Z-bars Seat:- New Choppahead kustoms seat pan, with custom leatherwork and hand tooling by Truckalope Leather TERMS: WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION WHEN EVER.
