For sale I have an absolutely beautiful, rare and hard to find 2001 model BMW R1200CM Montana, R-Series motorcycle. It has been meticulously cared for and is hardly broken in at only 12,650 miles to be exact. The motorcycle has always been BMW dealer/shop serviced and stored in climate controlled garage during the winters. BMW manufactured one and only one cruiser style motorcycle and it was the R1200C/R850C and it was only made from the years 1997-2004. This particular model is an elite motorcycle compared to nearly any other motorcycle made. Everything on this motorcycle speaks for it's reliable performance with BMWs flare of unique, classy styling.. From it's ABS dual disc brakes, heated grips, single sided swing-arm, drive shaft driven rear wheel, dual exhaust, quick disconnect BMW saddle bags, windscreen, tele-lever front suspension all the way down to it's sleek chrome on black design and the list goes on and on. As you can see by the 25 full size pictures and walk around video I have provided, the bike is in beautiful, mint condition.. I can think of only two flaws/problems with the bike other then the lightest signs of use. 1. The ABS light is on and the ABS may need servicing (the brakes work perfectly fine, but the ABS apparently is not functioning as it should). Bike has been ridden daily in this condition with NO side effects. I personally prefer the more controlable feel of the levers without the ABS function. It may be as simple as a fuse but since it was not an important issue to me, I have not fooled with it. This bike is ready to ride ANYWHERE! 2. Speedometer was replaced with a new OEM BMW speedometer with 0 miles on it. When the speedometer was changed by the shop, all records were kept and everything was done in a legitimate way. The actual mileage at the time of replacement was recorded in a timeline of the bikes history over the past 5,000+ miles.. The motorcycle has 12,650 miles and the gauges read 135 miles. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To prepare it for sale the bike just had a little over $4,000 worth of services, upgrades and a few repairs which I have detailed receipts for. They are including but not limited to: NEW PARTS and materials: BMW Avantgarde handlebars, speedometer, wiring harness, battery, spark plugs, starter relay, synthetic engine oil, oil filter, clutch fluid, air filter, tires front and back BMW optional tachometer BMW upgraded mirrors SERVICES: change oil and filter, chain rear wheel oil, cleaned inductive sensor in rear wheel, checked rear wheel bearings, replaced air filter, changed brake fliud, changed spark plugs, check swing arm, wiring harness installed, speedometer installed, handlebars installed, tires installed.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The bike runs like new, rides smoothly and extremely comfortably.
