Our faithful daily sign delivery truck cracked a manifold, and according to our mechanic will take about $1,440 to fix. If you are mechanically inclined, you can probably do it for a lot less-- but we aren't, so we're putting her up for sale. I have attached a copy of the mechanic's evaluation so you can look at the details. The truck has some high miles, mostly from making the circuit from here (Gaithersburg), Baltimore, Frederick and back, but has been well maintained by us. The pictures show it pretty much as it came in from the road. There is paint and stuff on the seats and floor, mostly not much more than a good cleaning would cure. There is also dent on the driver's side. Engine, transmission, and tires are otherwise decent. Our mechanic says we also need some ball joints on the left front, and even though I trust our mechanic, I think the ball joints are debatable. Because of the manifold leak, don't plan on being able to drive this at any real speed. A roll-back or tow-dolly is recommended to take this home.
