Thank you for viewing my auction for my 1979 Chrysler 300. I am the 3rd owner of this car and purchased from a close family friend. The original owner was an Air Force 1 pilot. After 15 years of ownership he sold it to my close friend, who passed away and his daughter inheritied the car. She then sold it to me. It is all original. The Mopar 360 has aproximately 40K on a rebuild, bored 30 over. It runs strong and has had a recent Carter Carburator rebuild and replacement. The transmission was also rebuilt when the motor was done and it shifts tight. The car runs and drives very well and everything works for the most part. Since I have owned it I replaced the starter, alternator, front brakes, front wheel bearings, oil change, tune up, cooling flush, ect. There is an exhaust leak (not major) at the manifold. The heater core needs to be replaced. It does not leak but does not give good flow, thus heat is lukewarm. As you can see in the photos there are the typical rust spots that all of these late 70's mopars experience. The frame and floors are excellent. The quarters and fenders need some body work, and then paint. I have every badge, emblem, and trim piece for the car as well as other spare parts. I own several mopars but have recently lost storage space so I must sell this one (I would rather keep it but I can't) This 300 does not need a lot to be a sweet ride.
