This Renault is in great shape. It has an original 39,000 miles on it. It was garage kept its whole life by an elderly couple that bought it new. That means that even the window rubber is still soft, the dash has no cracks, and the vinyl seats are not stiff. A great example of a pristine 80's automobile. In 1985 it was the Motor Trend Car Of the Year. Since I bought the car about a year ago I have replaced many things that wear out with time. A list includes: Radiator, radiator hoses, transmission line hoses, thermostat, idle control, spark plugs, cv boots, shocks, rear hatch shocks, belts, air filter, wiper blades and probably some other things that are slipping my mind right now. The seats are in great shape except for one small tear about 2" long on the drivers seat back. All floor mats and rear mat are there. The only thing I can think of that this car needs at all is a head liner. It passed smog fine here in CA about 3 months ago, so will need to be smogged again if you are buying in CA. The motor is a 1.4 liter paired with a 3 speed transmission. Disc brakes in the front, drum in the back. Tires are older but barely used. Windows have no chips in them. Side windows roll up and down fine. Rear seat folds flat to create a large rear cargo area, but cargo area with seats up is large as well. All lights and electrical works, including the original cassette deck. There are small chips in the paint in areas and very small dents as well, I have tried to show these areas.
