1997 SUZUKI TL1000S VIN: JS1VT51A4V2100044 Miles: 29784 Color: BLACK Photo 1 of 35 DescriptionThis Suzuki TL1000S runs and shifts well, but it needs a few repairs and some wear items replaced to get it back on the road. It has been custom painted and upgraded with chrome wheels, a custom high-mount exhaust, HID headlights, faux-carbon air intake covers and dash cover, aftermarket right engine cover, rear seat cowl, rear fender eliminator kit, polished frame, aftermarket mirrors, and tinted windshield. This bike has been put through the National Powersports Inspection process, which includes a NH State Inspection, fluids check, a test drive, and a cleaning. In addition the exhaust, fuel tank, and fork seals are leaking and there is no license plate bracket, plate light, or chain guard. The seat release mechanism is also not working. We installed battery tender leads for easy battery charger hook-up.TEST DRIVEThis bike runs and shifts well, though the worn front end components are very noticeable when braking.COSMETIC CONDITIONThe custom paint looks professional however though there are some runs and imperfections in a few areas. It appears a windshield bolt was over tightened and has cracked the upper fairing (see final picture above). There are some paint chips in on the mufflers and some chrome is flaking from the rear wheel.TITLEIn New Hampshire, any vehicle 15 years and older, or under 50cc, is considered exempt and will not be issued a title. This is pursuant to RSA 261:3 of the Motor Vehicle Laws of the State of New Hampshire. The RSA reads, "No title or duplicate title will be issued on any exempt vehicle, even by request". This does not mean that you will not be able to title this vehicle in your state! Check with your department of motor vehicles about your specific state requirements. We are an official N.H. motorcycle dealership and inspection station and in most cases can provide all the necessary documents for you to title and register this vehicle in your state. We accept certified bank checks, money orders, bank to bank wire transfers, and of course cash in person. Credit cards and PayPal are only accepted for the $250 deposit. We cannot take either method for the full payment amount. Bank to bank wire transfers usually show in our account within 24 hours of transfer, except on weekends. Banks now require that any out of state certified checks, money orders and treasurers checks require 5 business days to clear. Please keep this in mind when considering delivery time. Once payment has been confirmed and cleared, our goal is to ship your motorcycle within 2 business days.
