Vehicle Detail

Here is an opportunity to own a great Porsche 996 / 911 Twin Turbo. THE 996 TURBO IS A BULLET PROOF PORSCHE..NO IMS FAILURES OR OTHER ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH OTHER 996 MODELS: (996TT & GT-3'S USE THE REAL 911 (964) BLOCK) I AM SO CONFIDENT IN THIS CAR'S RELIABILITY... THAT I WILL PERSONALLY DRIVE IT UP TO 2000 MILES (FOR A PRE-PAID FEE/PLANE TICKET HOME) TO DELIVER THE CAR ANY AIRPORT IN THE USA!!! Will Pick-Up/Meet any Prospective Buyer at the Tampa International Airport to take Delivery of the Car. This is a no excuse car and when we ran a recent Car Fax Report, Car Fax added $2100 to the retail value of the car due to the extensive Porsche Dealership Maintenance records. (See Pics) I have all of the records, including the Original Window sticker that shows all options and the Retail Price of $123,930 in 2001. I have owned the car for about 7+ years and was so impressed with the handling and performance, that I traded a Ferrari off to get this car. As a PCA/PBOC/NASA Certified HPDE Instructor & fully race licensed...I never abuse this car. I have a dedicated Porsche track car that fulfills all of my aggressive driving needs and the 996TT is pampered. It also worthy to note that I was an Independent Porsche Mechanic & European Speed Shop Owner for 10+ years and have a killer garage with all of the OEM P-tools at my disposal...What does this mean...The car has been over-maintained with Annual Synthetic Mobil-1 oil changes, Brake Flushes, Alignments, etc, etc. It has worked out to be about 1-oil change per 1000 Miles. It never breaks, always starts, so sometimes I just tinker/wash it for something to do. The car does have some normal wear & tear: scuff on front plastic air dam, tires (~55% worn), extremely small line in the digital display that occasionally blinks .. Other than that the car is VERY NICE for a 2001. Basically, for the last 8-years the car has been used to go out dinner, PCA Fun Rallys, and other social events. The car was used only once during an instructor session to run a few laps at a PBIR during an HPDE. I wanted to see what the car was capable of that you could not do on the street without going to jail. The car was AMAZINGLY FAST 149+ MPH in the back straight & never ran out acceleration...AND... the brakes were PHENOMENAL!!. The twin turbos, with the B&B exhaust, made awe inspiring GP sounds along the concrete walls like an 6-year old girl screaming with her hair caught in bicycle spokes. UPGRADES: (Installed Exhaust at 42K miles when I bought the car from California: OEM Calif Exhaust Included if Emissions Testing Required) H&R RS Coil Over ShocksB&B Stainless Steel Exhaust ($5k w/ Lifetime Warranty) H&R Coil Springs (2" Lowering/Progressive Rate)Tarret Drop LinksBillet Diverter ValvesBBS 2-Piece 996 GT3 Cup wheels (Optional PERFECT OEM Wheels Available too)Billet Aluminum Diverter ValvesAlan Johnson (AJ USA) Custom ECU High Performance Flash/ProgramNEW ATE Brake Pads & Recent Super Blue FlushK&N Air FilterNew Performance Clutch was Installed by Previous Owner at 40K Miles **OEM Exhaust is included to meet California/Emission Testing States if Required**. Why am I selling the Car? I have only put 8K Miles on the 996TT in the last 7+ years that I have owned it. Where as I only put 8K Miles on the 996TT, I have put 38K miles on my race car in the same amount of time. Additionally, I have 2-kids who are now too big for the back seats, and one kid will always get left out when I take the car out and have to alternate which kid gets to ride in the car. Racing/Instructing HPDE is my passion, and the 996TT is way too nice of a car to track. The biggest reason that the car is up for sale, I that I am looking to consolidate the 3+ Porsches that I presently own and get into one dedicated-full blown race car. In Florida it is racing season all year long. Trades will be considered on a case by case basis: Corvettes, Ferrari Challenge, 2010+ 302 Boss, GT3, and especially RS America 993's, If you have any questions or need additional pics, feel free to give Rokket a call at (813)919-5995 or email questions to SpeedGroup@msn dot com. If you get voice mail leave a message & I usually returns calls relatively quick. Forgot to mention that the Sunvisor ABS Warning Decals Fell off & were Removed. Feel Free to Email any Reasonable Offers.......Thanks For Looking & Good Luck Bidding!
