Hi! Here I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler that was recently acquired from a friend that sold it to me because it no longer passed NYS inspection, so he did not want to haggle with it any more. The reason it did not pass inspection is that he was told the frame is started to develop rust. I had the Jeep put up on a lift and examined the frame. I took pictures of the three weakest points on the frame both in the front on each side and one in the rear on the passenger side. Like I said, please take a look at the pictures. As for other flaws, the driver's side floor board has rusted. The other side seems like it was not yet affected. The body of the Jeep has some rust spots around and just your average wear but please take a look at all of the pictures. I individually pictured every panel so everyone can know exactly what they are buying. The engine and transmission seem solid from the time that I've owned it. I've driven it around for a bit and have never had any check engine lights or weird things happen. The hardtop seems nice and it has a tow hitch on it. The transmission shifts very smoothly without hesitation and the engine sounds healthy with great oil pressure on the dash gauge needle. The 4x4 system works flawlessly, brakes feel good, and suspension seems to feel tight for the miles and year. If you have any other questions, please message me via eBay.
