Welcome back to CarsandDogs1970 and a new year in cars. This is the first offering we have for you car nuts. This 1962 Alfa has been off the road since 1976. There is documentation to prove its long dormancy. This was someone's special project that got derailed. The entire engine looks rebuilt and was just covered in dust. The top end of the engine was removed and lost in transition by the previous owner. The good folks at Alfa Parts Exchange delivered a rebuilt 1965 head and we had a great afternoon with them. We all marveled at the carefully wrapped trim pieces in old newspaper from the '70's. There must be a dozen of those. The carbs and intake are the missing pieces here. There is a small bucket with the door handle, trunk lock, rear window latches and some more nuggets. The internals on both the engine and head are clean. The worst part of the car is the trunk and the pictures tell the story there. The driver's quarter was pulled out and will need your craftsmanship to make perfect. The title is here in my name. This car is at a cross roads. It could either be a scruffy and cool driver or you could create a show piece from what is here.
