This is a very nice 1981 Trans Am Recaro Special Edition Daytona 500. This car is running well and was painted about 4 months ago. I listed it back in October and had to report the bidder for a no show. So please if you don't have the money for this car, don't bid. Pros: Car runs well New great looking paint job. New Floor pans Trunk is in great shape New carpet New Windshield New belts and plugs Original engine Carb just rebuilt last week Dash has no cracks Hurst Dual Gate Shifter (I do have the nob that is not shown in the photo) Cons: Needs sticker package Needs weather stripping door and T-top Could use a new set of tires. Original Turbo set-up was taken out long ago Passenger door (when welder did bottom of door he made a mistake) door opens and closes fine but is not in line with the rocker. If you look at photo it might be hard to notice. This car is a great item to add to a collection or as a first vintage muscle car. This car can be seen any time during the auction Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm. Because the last bidder did not pay. I will need the $500.00 deposit 24 hours after the auction closes. That is NOT correct after a question form a bidder I had a mechanic check it out. The engine is a 307 out of a Buick Riviera. IF you don't feel like winning this car please do not bid. It's still a running and driving car with all the other items I have listed. I am reducing my reserves with this information.
