This is a sweet vehicle that is in great condition. It has ZERO mechanical issues. It has been serviced regularly. The timing belt has been changed. The tires are V rated Michelins with about 10k on them. The front brakes were just replaced. The trunk is the largest in its class. This was my wife's car, but she wants a 2014 Subaru Forester for job reasons. Her major complaint with the Solara is its hard to see out the back and she hates backing up. I put a backup camera on and that does help the visibilty. On the highway, we average 27-28 mpg at 70mph. Around town its more like 23-24mpg. The convertible top is in very good condition as I clean and seal it every 6 months. My wife does love putting the top down and then turning on the heated leather seats!! Very comfy and you should see people stare. The front seats in this car are more comfortable than a Mercedes. Don't buy this car unless you want to get noticed. Its fire engine red and its a sexy, fast looking vehicle.
