We have a 1949 Dodge Wayfarer business coupe . Almost everything is new except the cool patina on the outside. we lowered the front end 6 inches the rear 5 inches and power rack and pinion steering. it has a 350/400 with an 8.8 rearend with 3.55 gears. a whole new brake syatem including 4 wheel disc brakes, new lines, new master cylinder. New wiring via painless wiring. all the wires to the engine are ran in copper tubing as is the radiator hoses are copper. the engine, firewall,original wheels and dash are painted BMW green with metal flake. it has a new aluminum radiator, new transcooler and new trans cooler lines. it has 4 new shocks. the interior is all redone with sound deading under carpet. the bottom of the car is done with bedcoating so it will never rust the trunk is also coated with bed coating. it has an electric fan to keep it cool and new exhaust. if you dont like attention dont buy this car because everywhere you go people will draw a crowd around you. I love it like this and drive it like this however you may buy it and paint it if you wish but I love the patina on it with the plushness of the new interior and the reliability of the newer drivetrain. there is still a ton of new parts including the sick new white wall tires that I havent mentioned but you can look at the car and tell it was built right.
