THIS IS A NO RESERVE LISTING. This is a 1998 BMW 328i premium package sedan in superb original condition. This is probably one of the nicest E36 BMWs for sale anywhere in the country. This car belongs to a childhood friend of mine and I'm helping him sell the car. He bought the car 11 years ago, and since that time, the car has never spent a night outside. The car has ALWAYS been garaged and has been immaculately cared for. This has been a summer-only car, kept in his 8-car heated garage and only driven in nice weather in the summertime. This was a "toy car". During the winters the car is kept in the heated garage, covered and with a battery tender connected. The only reason he's selling the car it is to make space in the garage. My friend is an absolute perfectionist about condition. Nothing but the finest, best condition cars will do for him, and this car is no exception. The exterior condition of this car is amazing. The headlights aren't even hazy/cloudy- try finding an E36 BMW like this- you won't. All of the body panels are original, with factory VIN stickers on every panel. You cannot imagine how a 1998 car could look this clean and perfect, but if you know it's history and care, it makes sense. The interior of the car is superb. The leather seats are in great shape and the carpets and upholstery are clean and very nice. The car has ALWAYS been kept clean, and it has received regular detail jobs by a professional auto detailer. This BMW runs and drives great. This is a smooth, powerful, great-driving BMW that handles and responds very well. There are no known mechanical problems, and the car has always been serviced on time. The engine is powerful, the transmission shifts well, the suspension and steering are tight and responsive, etc. This BMW drives very well. Everything on the car works, air conditioning, all electrical features, etc. There are no warning lights illuminated on the dash. You could not hope to find a cleaner 328i of this vintage anywhere. Keep in mind that this is a 1998 car, so as such it is not brand new. Here is a list of every known problem, no matter how minor: One foglight is cracked. There is some minor wear on the driver's seat. The brakes pulse somewhat on hard operation- the pads and rotors are nearing the end of their service life. There is some minor oil leakage from the oil pan gasket as is common on these cars. The digital odometer readout is intermittently difficult to read- the bottom half of the digits blanks out and becomes hard to read- then next time it will read just fine. That's it.
