im relisting this car. other person who was going to buy thought it was to much work for him. IT HAS A CLEAR TITLE, this '56 chevy is a really straight car. the outer body is virtually rust free and dent free, im showing all the worst rust areas on the car so there are no surprises.it has the seamless frame. it has a chevy 350 V-8 with a four spd trans, and original rear end. it runs beautifull and drives good. front end seams pretty tight, brakes are good.transmission is tight,shifter is fair, its an old hurst, the floor needs sheet metal repair as shown . it looks worse than it is, because it is just sheet metal . the body mounts and troughs are pretty decent. it needs a few things to get it totally roadworthy, it needs the front and rear wiring fixed for the lights, speedo fixed,horn relay,its hard to find them this clean. its got new commander white walls, new radiator, headers, glass packs,aluminum edelbrock intake,electric fuel pump, always starts even on the coldest days, the outer body is pretty much rust free, the door bottoms are nice and solid as are the rockers and quarter panels, trunk is nice except for the patch someone welded in,just needs the center section. gas tank is good.glass is okay for a rat rod, but if restoring it will need a windshield(delaminating)back glass is good, side glass is fair, but its flat glass so its not expensive. please call if you have any questions,586-944-8615. the car is being sold locally so we reserve the right to end auction early, i can help with shipping arrangements.THE CAR NEEDS THE SHEET METAL WELDED IN FOR THE FLOORS.
