Hello. I have a 1989 jeep cherokee 4x4 6 4.0. Drove this from California to Minchigan at the end of July. (NO RUST) here are the specs: It has 188k miles, automatic, everything works mechanically new set of 5 Hercules 30in tires (has less than 5k miles and under warrenty untill 75k) , new paint job (painted with truck bed liner so nothing can harm this car. I have mad many people wanting me to paint there xj's like mine, but I always decline. So a 1 of a kind xj. lol) just put in new power brakes with new master cylinder, brake lines, power booster, brake pads, calipers, so all of that is new (with the mechanic receipt). Has new battery, spark plugs, plug wires, vacuum tubes, new fan clutch, (stays cool under the heat), new headlights and bulbs, And New tie rods and stabilizer shock. and I put in a sony xplod radio with two new sony xplod speakers. Redid the headliner and put floor mats and seat covers on. Interior is on good shape except that the top of the dash is cracked. ( Have been meaning to get that done) . It is registered and has passed smog. ******IT NEEDS A TRANSFERCASE****** The chain had slack, and now it wont shift. The motor works 100%, but wont run without a new t-case. Pretty simple fix.
