1937 GMC Snubnose COE Cabover Truck This truck came from a local estate where it has been sitting, untouched for nearly 20 years. The previous owner acquired the truck from Montana where it had been used as a water truck by the City of Dillon, Montana. The truck is complete and original but is in need of restoration or use as an excellent parts truck. It has a 6 cylinder engine and, I believe, a 3 speed transmission, as well as a auxiliary transmission that appears to have been added. As you can see by the pictures, the truck has its share of repairable damage. There is no major rust through or rot issues. However, the truck has surface rust, damage to the fenders, broken glass, missing parts and a hole cut in the back of the cab (part of the brownie installation I think). That being said, this super rare truck has a lot of potential. The cab structure is solid, the doors open and close tightly, many of the small parts (cranks, gauges, trim) are still with the truck. The tires all hold air and I have both of the outer rear wheels. Right now, the truck does not roll as the rear end seems to be locked up. When the previous owner acquired the truck, it did not come with any paperwork. I do not have a title for this truck. Sold with bill of sale only. The truck is located near Sandpoint, Idaho.
