Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I am selling my 1975 Honda CB500T. I bought this over the summer because it is such a cool vintage bike. It was only made in a twin for 2 years: 1975 and 1976. The problem is that I already have too many bikes, and I can’t justify having this one in the collection. I don’t get to ride it enough to warrant me owning it. The previous owner had all of the internals re-worked (details available on request- I have the receipts for the work he had done), and this thing runs great. It generally starts on the first or second kick (Except when it is really cold outside- Then it takes a little longer)- and I never even use the choke. The electric starter needs to be re-built, but I have all of the parts needed (just not the time to do it). It has new tires (<150 miles on them), and I have a few replacement items (turn signals, etc.) to go along with it. This bike is completely stock and should continue to increase in value. No, it’s not perfect, but it is nearly 40 years old! Just let me know, and I can take more pictures of anything you need.As far as I know, the only thing that it will need soon is a new chain and sprockets. Also, the right exhaust has a rust hole on the underside- Easy to replace with the number currently on eBay. If I end up keeping it, I will change out the front bearings and brake pads, as I think they might be originals. I would be willing to change those out if it would help with the sale. I am also including a shop manual and the original (!) owner's manual. Finally, I am willing to help arrange delivery (within reason). I have an enclosed cargo trailer set up for my bikes, and I can bring it to you. If you are farther away, I am more than willing to help arrange shipping, although this is the buyer's primary responsibility. I have used UShip in the past with bikes that I have sold and have had good results.
