You are bidding on a 1977 Plymouth Volare. This is a solid starter car for either a resto, street car project, or stocker to run IHRA/ NHRA. When I purchased the car it was my intent to build a stocker to run IHRA. Time has dictated otherwise and instead of the car just sitting in my garage I have decided to sell. OK, to get to the car. Overall the car is in great shape body wise. The only rust that I am aware of is in the hood and in the rear quarter panel on one side. Some surface rust in one spot and there is a little through rust at the front of the hood by the latch and in the corner. Every piece of molding is on the car. All the trim, grill, bumpers, etc is all there. The drivetrain is complete and intact, it just does not run. The car ran when it was parked, but it has been parked for 5 to 7 years. It has a 318 V8, and a 904 transmission. The Odometer has 43865 on it, but not sure of actual miles. Edit to add: As best I can tell the inner vertical portions of the front uni-rails are in good shape. I felt them as far as I could reach and did not feel any spots that would be of concern. Haven't been underneath to look lately. The one thing is I did not get a title when I purchased the car as I had no intention to put it on the street. If that is your intent, getting a title will not be difficult and I will supply you with a BOS and will assist in any way I can. I am sure that I have left out something.
