This car just came out of long term storage and is ready for a new home. I am listing this for my cousin who bought it about 15 years ago with intentions of restoring it and its been stored since. It was running and driving at that time but had no brakes. I put a battery in it (not the right size, not included) and it cranks right over and will run on ether. I was impressed with everything that still worked (lights, signals, blower, dimmer, including the wipers) This will be an easy restoration for even an amateur restorer since nearly everything remains as it was when it left the factory. I had a question about the glass today, for being 50+ years old, I would say that all the glass is in excellent condition, no cracks, chips, or wiper scratches. However it will need seals/rubbers due to the age, I'm assuming that's why the stainless was removed from the windshield and rear glass. I've also had questions about the tool kit, it appears that most of the original tools are missing, but in this situation I think the box itself is more important than the contents, and its in pretty nice shape. This car appears to be very complete and unmolested, hubcaps and some stainless around the winshield is all I noticed missing so far but I'm no jag expert. This is also for sale locally and may end at any time. Car is still tied down to the trailer and semi-local delivery is an option for an additional fee at the time of sale.
