Up for auction is a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro two door coupe with a 327 cu in V-8 backed by an automatic transmission. The odometer shows 78,605 miles. I am helping a long time friend’s widow sell his cars after his passing so I will try my best to describe it. This is a very solid car in great driver condition; the owner of the car took very good care of it and enjoyed it often. The engine that is currently in the car is I believe a 62-65 Corvette 327 block that has been built. The block casting number is 3782870 from the documentation that I have found in the car file. There is a pile of receipts from the engine and car build. Included with the auction is the original 327/350hp engine that I know he pulled out of the car because he didn’t want anything happening to it. The owner of the car and his wife were very big in the local classic car club and his widow plans to stay in the club, so as you could understand it is hard for her to see his cars so she asks that the car please leaves the Akron, Canton, Cleveland area, due to she doesn’t want to see the cars again. This is a great car to drive and is ready for a new home, in the last week I have driven the car and gone over it and I couldn’t find anything wrong with it. The balance of the item must be paid for in full within 7 days after the close of the auction. The car must be paid in full by Cash in person, Bank Check, or wire transfer before it will be shipped or picked up. All the shipping charges and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
