This is a real diamond in the rough here. 1957 Cadillac Series 62. Still has the original Cadillac engine. Is it numbers matching, I couldn't tell you that for sure. It also has the true hydra-matic four speed automatic. Is it numbers matching Im not sure. These cars don't show up very often and when they do, the price is crazy on them. You can own this great american made piece of machinery at a fraction of the cost. The vehicle does have a prior salvage title. it had a fire under the hood. Everything was fixed years ago, and it's no longer a salvage title. It is a rebuilt title. This car will need some TLC before you hit the open road. I believe the gas lines are plugged up and not providing fuel to the carburetor. So those will need to be replaced. I would recommend cleaning the tank as well. The care does run, but im sure will need the normal tune up plugs, wires, points, etc. The brakes aren't hooked up also. I mean literally cut right after the master cylinder. Any decent mechanic could have this all fixed in a day tops. The tires have some tread left, but are really old and dry rotted. So it will need four new tires. The body is in ok shape. It does have rust (not alot), and very poor rust repair (alot). Ill be honest it would cost $40,000+ to bring this car back to show quality. half that to make it a decent driver. BUT here's the good news. Your looking at it. These cars don't come up for sale very often and are super hard to find. I'll do all I can to answer any of your questions.
