Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a nice original Honda CL125A Scrambler. This model was only made two years 1968-1969. This is a nice example with original paint(except the tank). New tires and tubes have been installed. The chrome is nice however there is some pitting at the front of the rear fender where it meets the frame. The light only works on high beam. The directionals only blink when the bike is running. The bike comes with the winner's choice of seats. The pictures show both the stock seat and an aftermarket cafe seat. The bike only comes with one seat. This is a fun little bike to drive. It has a momentary hesitation when taking off from a stop, a dead spot as you first open the throttle. Maybe the carb needs adjustment, I don't know. Otherwise it runs out good and shifts fine. The tank was recently repainted but not professionally. If you look close you can see some imperfections. Looks good from three feet away. Not bad but I wanted to mention it. The tank badges are oem, not replicas. The inside of the tank has some surface rust but nothing structural. The left headlight ear is slightly bent and the headlamp bucket it cracked where the ear meets it. The left side cover has the bottom tab broken. The battery is newer. The exhaust is solid but could use a new gasket where the headpipe meets the muffler(available from Ohio Cycle). There is no baffle in it. I do have a title for the bike. Any shipping would be the responsibility of the buyer. If you have questions, please ask. A $200 deposit is due within 24 hrs of auction's end. The remainder to be paid in cash upon pick-up which should take place within one week.
