Up for sale is my 2004 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas. This car was $81,000 new! It has every option you could get in 2004 (minus the rear picnic trays). It has 86,800 very well maintained miles. It just passed the Virginia state inspection last month with flying colors. It has been a southern car all its life. I bought this VDP in June to replace my aging 1999 Mercedes S500. I drove it from Atlanta to Virginia Beach and it performed flawlessly. It averaged 28 mpg on the highway! It is an amazing vehicle and the only reason I am selling it is because my neighbor is selling his 2006 Jaguar Super8. His car was the reason I bought this one! The engine is smooth and quiet with no abnormal noises or leaks. The transmission shifts flawlessly. The air suspension rides like a dream, much smoother than my old '95 740i and '99 S500. All the electronics work 100%! The Xenon headlights are super bright! The leather is in great shape for the age. This car has the full radio/DVD/phone controls in the rear center console! The body is in great shape. Minor rock chips on the front and a few surface scratches on the body. No damage to the aluminum body and absolutely no rust. The Jaguar looks stunning and I get compliments daily. It still looks like a $80,000 dollar car! A/C is ice cold. Heated seats work beautifully. Heat works 100% I have the owners manuals, key FOB, valet key, and black floormats. I am an auto enthusiast and searched 3 months before finding this color combo and option package. This has been my daily driver for the last few months and has been an amazing vehicle. If my neighbor wasn't trading in his 2006 Super8, I would be keeping the VDP.
