1951 chevy medium/heavy duty truck. I bought this truck 5 years ago from my neighbor who had it sitting behind a barn. I had the valves re-done,carb rebuilt, master cylinder rebuilt. I had the truck painted and replaced some emblems on it. The truck looks good. Im a impulse buyer and hd visions of prettying it up and putting our shop name on it to take to the local fairs,tractor shows and car shows s i thought it would be fun. I still think it would be fun but i have had no time to do any of the fun stuff as I'm too busy working at the family shop to enjoy it and my wife cannot drive it either. Its a solid good looking truck. Im sure you can nitpick it as there are minor things that could be done to truck most notably new window seals as one of them leaks. I never addressed it because since I've owned it it has always been in my barn. Interior could use new door panels(the cardboard original type) ,new floor mat, new passenger side window (has had crack since both neighbor and i have owned it. I would not hesitate or be embarrassed to take this to any local parade,car show,fair,etc. as this was my original vision. I have no reason to believe this mileage is not accurate. Clear title in hand. The lettering on truck should come off no problem. There will be no fading of the paint whatsoever from removing decals as this truck has literally not been exposed to over six days of sunlight since it was painted and always in a closed barn. Engine runs great,will idle all day. Can barely hear truck when engine is idling. New exhaust on it when valves were done. All lights work. Truck bed/box wood in good shape. Not a single dent in the metal. No filler or bondo in truck. Tires in great shape and i have never added air to them since i had one replaced 5 years ago. I believe i have a extratire and rim for this in the loft. I have a spare engine given to me with truck that goes with it. Original six volt system with newer battery. This truck is large with no power steering or brakes so you have to show it who's boss when driving it. I enjoy driving it and working the big old steering wheel quickly. Truck probably does about 55 mph. I call it the slow roller. It was used in a neighboring county farm to haul sugar beets as evidenced by a note in the original service/truck manual. I see no reason why the buyer could not drive this truck to wherever they were heading back too it will just take a little longer. I encourage people to come see truck for themselves and take it for a drive just contact me via eBay seller questions to make arrangements. I would have to ask my neighbor what size the engine actually is as I'm not that big of a car guy (the neighbor is). To my knowledge the engine appears to be original. Any questions please let me know and i will try to answer them as best as possible as there is nothing to hide to my knowledge. In the pics you will see a car seat as i would take my daughter with me on the few occasions i did drive it out. If i did not think it was safe she would have never been in it (also i knew if there was a accident the other vehicle would be the one hurting). I forgot i dont think the gas gage works and speedo works intermittently although i don't think your gonna need it.
